Born and raised in Saltville, a small town in Southwest Virginia, I have always loved living in this area. After attending high school, I never moved too far, and eventually landed in Abingdon. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Emory & Henry College, and later a MBA from King University. Since I always wanted to be in business for myself, and with more than ten years of experience in contract negotiations, marketing, finance, and business management, I decided to put my expertise into the real estate market. It was a great decision! My first year in the business, I was awarded the title of "Rookie of the Year" for selling more real estate volume than any other first year agent within the Southwest Virginia Association (SWVAR) of REALTORS®.
My Client-First Philosophy... There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional such as integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of my business. That being said, during my 17 years of experience as an Abingdon real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to my clients’ needs. This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In turn, doing so then allows me to extend the range of services I can provide to my clients. A career in real estate suits me. I like helping other people and being a REALTOR® gives me the satisfaction of knowing that I am helping others realize their dreams!
